Alfred Obed Laizer

Alfred is a finance practitioner with over seven years of experience in the financial services and insurance sectors. He currently serves as Finance Manager at Africa Pension Fund Limited (APeF), overseeing core functions including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.

Prior to joining APeF, Alfred held senior finance roles at Pan Afrique Re Limited and I.E. Muhanna & Co., with responsibilities covering IFRS 17 implementation, audit coordination, and financial systems improvement. His earlier experience at Jubilee Health Insurance and EY (Ernst & Young) provided him with a sound foundation in accounting, advisory, and internal controls.

He holds a CPA (T) certification and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Sciences from the University of Dar es Salaam. Alfred is valued for his consistency, ethical approach, and collaborative leadership in financial operations.
